So what did YOU do to improve your Mercedes this weekend?

He may have bought two parking tickets...

But surely each ticket is an entitlement to park one car within each space.

Ergo, two offences rather than one ....

No tickets/payment required.

The truth is that I'd repositioned the car to try and capture the line of cars parked opposite in the door's falling swage line:

Just about to order speaker upgrade with acoustic matts etc. using Hertz Energy speakers an invisibile upgrade.

Had wheels laser aligned. much better.

Cut off locking wheel nuts with plasma cutter, what fun.

Purchased a Dodo Juice Clay Kit with Born Slippy lube and and Supernatural wax

Replaced a cracked indicator unit on wing mirror after following an excellent post on mb uk

had the K1 spring replaced on the gearbox. no more flaring as car changes from 2-3!

Fitted a stereo with Bluetooth to the SLK so Mrs Ted can be even more distracted as she drives it.

Wash/wax/interior clean out and clean on the SLK.

CLK is filthy.

Mrs D's ML was treated to:

A new Bosch S5 battery - the most difficult battery I've ever changed. Thanks to ECP (Patrick) for the discount and Jay for the tips; and

An iPod kit hooked up to the Becker head unit - a doddle by comparison and should have done it years ago - sits nicely in the cubby which makes the lower half of the double DIN slot.

Break pad wear light now illuminated...

Get the DRL fitted - the round ones: as I got fog bulbs inside the main lights, the bumper was begging for them
Doesn't look half bad, even if I say so myself :bannana:

Saturday, had it serviced and MOT'd by my local indie,
Sunday, fitted the HID-Zenons!
