Sold my car - Experience Of ABC

When it comes to ABC, you either have to have a good warranty in place, have deep pockets and not care for the cost or become handy with a spanner. I've tried all 3 options and found the latter to be the best one for me. It cured my fear and frustration of driving and expecting something to go wrong, it saved a hell lot of money and time as flat rate mechanic's approach is usually to replace everything until it starts working again.

In case I ever upgrade from airmatic to ABC, could you say what ABC system maintenance is possible using a spanner?

My car had failing front airmatic struts when I bought it too...previous owners avoided replacing them due to cost, I'm sure.

The system was put together using spanners - it comes apart the same way. Contamination and leaks are the biggest factors in premature failure of ABC components. Gotta keep it clean and dry (i.e. regularly check and mend it if and when necessary) and it will work absolutely fine.

When you say was put together using spanners you mean like people spanners like in the Man Utd team.

You're nuts for saying that ...
