Someone key-ed in my car

Sorry to hear about your car probably some nutter on drink or drugs certainly they don't have a conscience

Wow. That's rubbish, sorry to hear about that, there's some right @rseholes around. When my wife's ex-husband did similar to my car I used these people - I thought they were excellent - Panel Pride Limited - Accident Repair Specialists

They are out in Kent, they did a great job, and will be a lot cheaper than 11K I reckon, even if you add in getting the car transported. I really wouldn't go for anyone within the M25 unless you get a good recommendation- despite it being close, the pride in workmanship is sometime lacking and anyone good will head outside to pay less rent and have an easier life and concentrate on their craftsmanship.

Good luck getting it sorted.

Well if that’s the case, why don’t you kill everyone on benefits, kill the disabled and the elderly. Saves billions.
I could kill my brothers for what they did to my mum and dad, but I won’t because I’m a better person than that.
Comments like this just shows what a sad world we live in!!!!!

Oh that’s a really good idea! Take a thug and give him weapons training, make him fitter and teach him fighting techniques.
Makes him more efficient at thuggery.
We live in a different world these days, and the old ways just sadly don’t apply any more.

So Sorry to hear that...I hope you get it sorted....cheaply...Try asking the main dealer who does their pre sale touch ups...might get a lead from them....also is it worth claiming on your insurance?

Now that’s a thread on its own about today’s youth.
There’s always been good and bad in every generation. My dad who is soon to be 80 says there were little scroats doing similar things when he was a kid.

Thats exactly what happens. At Cyprus we hear news like "RPG shots against a stripclub"

Sorry to hear your tale of woe OP; I just don't understand the mentality of some people.
Silver is a bit of a nightmare colour to match. Hope you get it sorted.

So we'll give them a pat on their head and say there there ,RPG ? What's that got to do with teaching discipline, there's more weapons on the streets than in the forces with people WHO dont know how to use them .
PEOPLE WHO DO THIS ARE SCUM FULL STOP !!!!!

I understand your pain.
I had my Iridium Silver S Class keyed a dozen years ago now in the NEC car park.
It does appear that the likelihood of your car being vandalised is in direct proportion to its value.
Both doors and the rear quarter were affected.

The good news is that whilst the whole side of my car needed to be repainted (about £650 IMS) the results were such that it was totally invisible after the repair by my local Mercedes bodyshop in Norfolk.
You've just got to take it on the chin (or side of the car in this case....) and get on with your life.
I hope your repair goes well!

How did you jump from punishing scum who wreck other people’s property to “kill everyone on benefits”..... etc, and your self righteous “...because I’m a better person than that” ?

I’m sure the majority on welfare have legitimate needs.

The talk was about the type of person that will deliberately go and damage other’s property.

As for your statement "We live in a different world these days, and the old ways just sadly don’t apply any more.” Not sure if you miss the old ways or not.

Your comments about national service are absolute nonsense. The discipline & training young people get in teh military actually gives them a sense of self esteem, teaches them life skills. It does way more good than harm.

It certainly is a different world. The liberal lefties have put us in a world of snowflakes & people who cannot cope with life. God forbid this generation would have to get us through the equivalent of another WWII like my grandparents generation did.

Perhaps the old ways were better.

As I recently pointed out to my son - by the time he is my age, the millenials are going to be running the country.........I’m very happy that I will probably not be around.

Let us see the after shots when it is done!

I had a metallic black Merc and some moron drove down the side of it and buggered off. I took it to a mate in Tonbridge who did a fantastic job, even repairing the AMG special metal front wing which was gouged. Even looking right up close you couln’t tell and the paint as matched perfectly. It can be done for around the price you have been quoted and in a way that no-one can tell. I’m taking my beloved R129 to him for rusty wing fixes and to fix the slight scratches on the R230 after a miserable old **** ran into me because I overtook him…..legally. The sod drove off but I’m looking out for him, hoping I’m in the Rangie when he’s behind me, it’s got fantastic brakes! And a tow bar ;)
