I was in the local supermarket today to get lunch and spotted the following...

I asked permission of the driver before taking the piccies. We had a short chat and he really rated the car. I love those alloys :D Seems South Wales Police have good taste in motors. :bannana: :bannana: :bannana:

Yeah, been passed by one of those on the M40. Another warning not to go faster because the German car with Xenons behind might want to race!

EDIT: Hope you asked him to go easy on mbclub.co.uk members with Nurburgring stickers!!

One of those was also involved in a mini-Pile-Up on the M1 last week !! Whole Driver's side wing & headlights were smashed to pieces. (Might have been a W210 actually)

About 7 other police vehicles there - obviously standard practice when one of their cars is involved in an accident. Merc didn't seem to have come out of it too badly, looking at the state of some of the other cars !

G.,

I did mention the club :) but unfortunately the officer couldn't really chat as he was meant to be attending an incident to get witness statements.

You also make a good point... For many years now I usually ease off the go faster pedal if I see Xenons in the rear view mirror while on the motorway at night. It has turned out to be a police car on a significant number of occasions.

S.,

It's certainly the first time I have seen a 211 E-Class in police livery.

Also, an officer cannot report a RTA if they have also been involved, they have to call for another officer to attend and write up the report.
