Spacers question for a E300TD.

Can we fit any spacers on those car? Do we need the four wheels or only 2 at the rear can be fitted? How wide?
5mm ( I don't think it would be noticable?)
10mm?
20mm?
I have already 225/ 18 wheels, would the arch be a bother?
just thinking a fatter look might be a better look, after resolving the rust first tho...

Are the spacers OK with the arch/fenders,
or bad for
the bearings,
the hubs,
the suspensions
the alignment etc...
Or are they OK.
Those one. Anyone?
