A year ago I bought a Demonstration (2009) C200 Kompressor SWagon in Stuttgart. I am a retired female with absolutely no interest in cars other than to get from A to B. I never even looked in the boot, and when I had a puncture I was appalled to find this teeny hairspray can and no spare. I live in Portugal where the roads are horrific and have since had two more punctures and have now written off three tyres. My local MB dealer wants a thousand euros to reconfigure the boot for a spare. What about those little thin tyres you can run on for a few K? Can anyone help me here who has dealt with this problem?
