Hi all.

I just bought a -05 E280 CDI (Estate) :D , and I was wondering if it is possible to have the Comand unit to display your current speed? As of now it displays lat./long., altitude and deviation.
I know the speedo is about 3-4 km's off,and it would be nice to know the gps speed.

Thanks
Steinar

No, not possible. I would also like it to show current time as the clock on mine is only visible by me and no-one else.

Think you can get the current speed on the main display inside the speedo, although I guess that is a bit pointless.

I seem to recall seeing this in one of the engineering displays but I guess you dont want to drive along in engineering mode really. Ditto the time. Time can be seen in the SYS menu though.

Can your HVAC display display vehicle speed? I have that function embedded in the HVAC diagnostic mode.

Thanks for the replies.
Hygt2. Please excuse my ignorance, but what is HVAC???:o

HVAC - Heating Ventilation & Air-Conditioning

On the W220, the menu is accessed through press and hold REST button.

Ohh.. Thanks a LOT.

I'll try and see tomorrow. Tonight it's raining cats and dogs outside..

Edit: No chance I could wait...:D Went out and tried, but nothing happened. Tried with key in pos.1, 2 and engine running.
BTW. I have the 4-zone climate control with display in front and rear.
Maybe not the same in a 211..
