Not sure if I picked up the prize for most insects collected yesterday , but they are now all gone , including several which had decided to have a look under the bonnet to see how clean the engine bay is :D

What I always find interesting at car shows is the number of folk who appear to set about removing insects , road dirt etc with a micro fibre and very little liquid of any description. o_O

After reading all the detailing threads about how folk use snow foam, jet wash, two buckets and just about anything conceivable to avoid touching the car and rubbing any contamination into/across the paint this doesn’t seem the best way to avoid scratches on your pride and joy :dk:

The insects I collected on the way there stayed on the car until I got home :)

But how bad was the urge to remove them :D:D

Zero :D

It takes me at least an hour to wash and dry the car at home with all the gear available, the idea of rubbing that load of cr#@ into the paint is scary

PS that bit of dirt by the wipers you have your eye on is on a Hit List ;)

If you have self healing PPF installed all of that worry disappears :D.

I said the worry disappears, I never said anything about the scratches.

Thought you would.
I'll stick with no insects and no scratches to my paint.

I noticed you were spending a lot of time in the A35 and the A45 Petronas edition.
Maybe you fancy another hot hatch do you?
