sprinter 311 2003

HI chaps and hello . ime a newby and new to mercs ,ihave test drove a sprinter van 2003 ,quite clean there are one or two things you may be able to help me with.
1 oil hi light comes on
2service light says 5900 minus
3 there is asmell of diesel fumes in the cab when the heater blower is on .
should i buy it
the chap has shown me the service records done by his local garage.

the diesel fumes may be a leaky injector seat can be a pig of a job removing the injector , see black death,

yep nip the intector thing in the bud if you catch it quick enough you will save you self a mamoth task you will need two parts
a A611 017 00 60
and 000 990 29 07 this is the seal and bolt needed. if your goin to have the top of may as well do all four maybe even get some injector grease and grease them up to refit.
oil light is either incorrect oil level or the level sensor in bottem of the sump.
Serivce is over due, how many spanners show on the dash???
this can be reset via the dash ask your local dealer they shoud be able to advise what u need to do
