I have a 3-yr old Sprinter 311 just out of warranty and once in a while it will not start. It's when the engine is warm, you turn the key, all the dash lights come on except the glowplug symbol but there is nothing from the starter motor, not even a click. The battery is good and the lights don't go dim.
I've tried the spare key and it makes no difference. After 30 to 40 minutes trying every few minutes the glowplug light does come on and the engine starts.
Anyone have any ideas?
