Wasn't sure if this is the right place for this post - seemed a better bet than General.
Our W163 ML has the Flip type key with 3 buttons (lock, unlock & boot release).
For those not familiar with them it looks like the one in this link (although that's only a 2 button one). Many Mercs in the mid 90's had this style of key (W202 C, W140 S, R170 SLK, R129 SL etc.)

Anyway, the back of the key just has the MB Star logo embossed on it. VW & Audi have proper logos on their version of these keys and I'm sure I recall there being an MB one with a coloured enamel or plastic wreath logo in place of the plain emobossed star.
I'm even 99% sure that the badge (or one that fits) is available as an Original Merc part. To be honest I'm now sure that I recall someone on this forum has 'upgraded their key' by supergluing this badge to their flip key.
Anyone have a part number for the logo badge that fits this type of key?
