Star Machine - finding alternator faults?

Does the Star Machine find alternator faults? That is the common diode fault were over night there is an excesive 'leak' at the alternator, does it report on the charging status?

Dr-side SAM will show code 9081 Singal cable 'Terminal 61' has open circuit. (Terminal 61 implausible). Also general undervoltage supply in various locations.

There was a thread on here a few weeks ago where a member on here Willow132 who has STAR helped find an alternator fault on a members car so it can find them.

Not on a 210 it cant especially an early one.
