Just fitted my new Head unit and whilst taking out the old, notice that there is some cabling ending in a red and white analogue audio jacks at the stereo end of the car, and in the boot also what appears to be the other end.
I fancy having a active subwoofer in the boot (never had one before). I can some see spare outputs (pre-outs?) on the back of the new Head Unit which are analogue jack size, so reckon that end is fine.
So, I wondered if this cable in the boot (assuming its the same cable of course
) would be fine for the subwoofer end? I know im gonna need power as well, but there should be a cable around somewhere if a CD changer was once in the boot, else I guess I can connect it to the aerial power somehow?
Cheers
