Sunroof rear seal - in or out?

Brethren… A quick one, albeit a little obscure. Was spending some time doing a good clean today, and noticed that the “forward” seal on the fixed part of the sunroof is half in & half out ( see pics below)

So - should i move it all in or all out?

Does it leak? If no then I would not fiddle with it.
