Don't worry Ray, I don't think it will be quite so busy this time. I was just lucky last time to squeeze in the front car park.

Wednesday 31st March
Cooden Beach Hotel, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex

Starting at around 5pm ish.

Anyone wishing to join us is more than welcome.

The good news is I shall be there.
The bad news is that my Mercedes was hit by another car this morning, so I may be turning up in a Vx Agila courtesy car- it does not have 6 cylinders, in fact I doubt that it even has 6bhp.

Thanks Andy for the offer, but if I need a lift I shall ask Leigh as he is over this way anyway.

The car was actually parked up, the 2 Jaguars collided with each other and one of them was shunted into my car. My car then got pushed up the kerb and backwards into the Vauxhall. The first I knew of it was when the police rang my door bell at 07:30hrs while the Jags were being taken away on transporters.

Courtesy car was here within a couple of hours - if anybody wants a write up on the Vauxhall Agila 1.2L. automatic...........
I will not waste my time doing it.

I may have my car back by 31st, otherwise I shall get the train over and enjoy a few beers before cadging a lift home.
Can somebody confirm that it is less than 50 yards from the station to the hotel?

As another venue for future meets can I suggest 'The Smugglers' at Pett Level.
Excellent carvery on a Sunday and on the beach too with plenty of parking.
