Tailgate trim C180K Estate (2004)

Hi all. Does any one know how to remove the tailgate trim on the C180K estate? It appears that the hose for the rear wash wipe has come adrift and is squirting into the tailgate instead of through the washer jet....

I have removed all the black push pins from the sides and bottom but do not want to force the trim off and break things without further advice!!!

I had exactly the same problem last winter, after a heavy frost. I guess the water froze, expanded, and the plastic pipe popped off at the point where it meets the wiper.

Once the black pins are removed the edge trim just needs a bit of force. It snaps on and off. The main rear panel also snaps off. I did not take the whole rear panel off. I just loosened it enough to get at the wiper.

You ought to put a new clip on the hose when you reconnect.

The M Class trim panel is too removed in exactly the same way...
