Taking a Mercedes in a hot climate - need to do anything?

His car is classed as a 'limosine' (and I use the term very loosely) but no prizes for guessing what make it is ;)

Ever been in a stretched Proton ?

They used to use these at the airport. Most were in a hell of a state and they used to ground on the speed bumps in the suburbs.

I've had the quote back for shipping - £850 in an exclusive container, shipping time approx 25 days + marine insurance. So far, so good. I just need to know what the MY Govt will sting me.....

Not been in a stretched one. This is one of those airport limo's, which in reality is simply an LPG powered Proton Waja (Impian in the UK) with a cheap chocolate brown leather interior. Much better than some of the death trap Saga's being used as taxi's in KLCC. It's also quite a newish one but it's no Merc....

An interesting note is that the taxation level is much lower if vehicles are assembled in Malaysia - some models of BMW's are shipped in almost a 'kit frm' and assembled by local labour.

same is true of certain E and C class Mercs.

These are the CKD locally assembled cars.
