tax disc holder

can anyone tell me if they have what looks like a wire comming out of the tax disc holder , it was i noticed it today and just wondered what it was

there is no telephone holder fitted to the csr , could it still be as you say, mind you when it's light tomorrow i will look at it and find out where it goes to .

Maybe it could be an am/fm aerial.

my sons bmw has one he was also told it was a phone aerial

Nokia used similar for some of their earlier gsm car phones. (fitted one to dads landrover)

Yes have one fitted to my W203 and, as previous posts, it's a phone aerial.
