Temperature readings - CLK55 W208

My external temperature gauge is providing some spurious readings as I live in N. Ireland and apparently my external temperature has touched 38 which then drops quite quickly to the high twenty's which again is not common in my neck of the woods.

I have just had the air-con re-gassed and wondered if there is any connection?

sounds like the external temperature sensor has come adrift from its housing ..

I had the same issue on my CLS55

CLS55 is quicker and more comfortable .. and drinks more fuel.

AFAIK, no link or relationship between sensor and a/c
