Temperature up and down on 1997 C36

nope just so many people drive around and have everything else changed and then look at the relay i have seen 30 plus c class and 6 e class with faulty relays i hope it does not come back but how was a cover catching not seen or the contact noise not noticed and can you see the scratched on the cover to prove it has been rubbing it takes a lot to blow a fuse happy motoring

ok, this isn't the X files, there's no conspiracy LOL I wasn't charged for any of the work and TBH the relay was mentioned by the dealer and was checked, as was the thermostat, main fan bearing and viscous coupling. Also, the car isn't under any form of warranty or guarantee so he could have said that's what it was and billed me for it and I'd have been non the wiser. Sometimes it really is that simple.

Ok the fans are for the AC and they kick in if the car gets to 105 degrees I think... My 1995 C36 never really get above 100...
