The new e class family w212

I love it and will also seriously consider the E Coupe next if the talked about E400 3 litre twin turbo is launched.

Looks like the current 5 Series.

Someone at my works car park parks next to me (well 2 spaces away) everyday with the new E Class coupe.

Oh, my is it one sexy machine. Easily the nicest car in the car park.

facelift of 5 series.. very sharp looking IMO

It actually looks very blunt.

I think what we're seeing with MB and BMW is that it's quite difficult to maintain your distinctive branding/style and move forward while keeping to the safety rules. The exaggerated kidney grill seems to be a deliberate ploy to offset the blunt nose (whereas MB have now gone for the one or two slat radiator with exaggerated centre disc) now that we have higher nose without the old step bumper.

See, that's proper styling. Sharp and modern yet timeless. The 212 was born a mess and remains it

steve; which direction do you drive down on your way to the GTG? not past my way by any chance?

How is that at all timeless? it looks like a generic Vaxuhall/Ford rep car. dull and completely untimeless.

Karl. I prefer a conservative design to one that's all modern just for the sake if being modern. I feel myself models are updated too often and 7 year cycles should be more like 10 to 12

218 CLS350cdi tested :)
