I notice you mentioned no sound from the COMAND. Sometimes this can be from the phone cradle (likely old Nokia) just being cut free, rather than removed and unplugged. Still, I'm sure you're on it, and overall thats low on the priority list!

The Bose amp has had it so I'm removing the full system (including the comand) and I'll be replacing it with an Alpine/Pioneer system.

I don't think I'll ever achieve 31mpg again, I'm struggling to get 15 at the minute!

New steering rack, lower control arms and a ball joint today.

On Saturday it will be getting an engine service using genuine Mercedes parts; Shell Helix Ultra oil, oil filter, fuel filter, pollen filter, two air filters, front and rear Bosch windscreen wipers.

Starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel now...

Thanks, these projects can get disheartening sometimes, but it's usually worth it in the end.

Well...

Picked the car up this afternoon and the work I've had done has been a revelation, it's like **** off a shovel!

It had K & N air filters fitted but I wanted to returned to standard, although in doing so its probably cost me 0.0012 bhp by removing the K&N's.

Trying to get it booked in for paintwork for in a months time, still not decided on a colour change, but what I am going to do is badge it up as a C220 CDi for a bit of fun.

Took my brother in law out today for a spirited drive up the A19 in the C32 and he couldn't stop laughing, he's given the car a name; the elastic band.

If you've been in or driven a C32, you'll know what he means...

I'm pretty certain that my next AMG will be a W211 E55K, I had a '63 earlier in the year but couldn't quite love it like a supercharged V8.
