The SL500 is in for it's MOT today

Fingers crossed the old girl gets a fresh trouble free MOT cert today.

I have also booked her in to have the brake pipes changed, the speed detectors changed and an oil & filter change ( It doesn't need it ) but whilst she is there .....

Just picked the SL up, Straight through and no advisories! Very pleased.

It was noted that at some point in the next couple of years i might need to change the engine mounts as there is very slight wear on them. causing minor vibration when cold starting - I can live with that and will sort it next year.

Gave her a good blast down the dual carriageway

Congratulations, I hate MOT's they always have me on edge. Luckily mine passed last month with no advisories

It is that time again! MOT & 'A' service on the SL 500, Just picked it up from my Independent MB specialist and..... passed without any issues, great for a 20+ year old car.
Total bill was £279 which i was very happy with.
Hopefully be able to post again with the same news next year!!
