Thinking my C63amg is"nt running right?

My FQ360 had some lag, maybe not a lot but some. Perhaps because I have the ppp C63 with the light weight internals, but it certainly feels more connected than the EVO.

Don't get hung up on advertised 0-60. The 0-60 of the C63 has been tested at 3.8, but pay little heed to that also.

My EVO was an astonishing car, but not in the same league as the Merc. Not by a country mile, not in throttle response and not in pace (straight line pace).
Yes the performance pack! puts bhp upto around 481 bhp dont it buddy! iv got this on my c63 also! The 2 cars are totally diffrent tools! the amg is more a big road tool with the odd track day! The c63 is a big heavy car and would not live with evo round track or streets! But when its going it feels good!
 
The legitimate medical supplies business is quite lucrative too if you're a good seller and know the right people and science-y bit.
oh and there was me thinking johny boy was in the legitimate drug supply industry ?
 
Id be more than happy to road test your AMG seen as though we're neighbours sort of;)

these evo"s have very short gearing so are defo quicker off the mark!!

I'm sure the driver of the blue FQ-400 MR (on sunday) is a firm believer in the above statement now!

Considering the fact that he had the honour of inhaling the exhaust fumes from all four mufflers before he got transformed in to the tiniest spec in my rear view mirror...

The worrying thing about it all is the fact that I even gave him a head start of a car length, let us not forget that I am currently having cooling problems.

So all in all, I think my little AMG did quiet well! :D

So your saying a naturally aspirated engine has LESS throttle response than a Forced induction engine........ ? ?

Seriously thats the most ridiculous thing ive seen posted,

That maybe the case of your talking about deisels but were not.....

A large naturally aspirated engine will make larger amounts of torque lower in the rev range than a small engined turbo car that will only make good torque once the turbo has spooled,

A well tuned Evo will make around 420lbft on boost out of the stock turbo at its peak aroubd 3500-4000 rpm

A c63 should make more at lower rpm
 
Yes buddy! the rs was a stripped out track model" the rs had better turbo! A evo-green turbo! and mine was running a mo-tec map and had full sports exourst! full alcon brakes!

was running at 440bhp at low boost! around 500 if boost was turned up!



So who did the work on the car ? What rods did use? were you a member of MLR?

I feel like this is the case of

You dont own either of the cars mentioned and you feel the need to come on here and troll and say evos are faster than Amgs....bla bla bla

But be warned I know the 4g63 very well inside and out ;) so dont trash talk

And I know for a FACT that a stock none PPP C63 can just out run a 423 (dyno proven) Evolution IX from a rolling start.

And yes you can get an FP Green on the evo or even an FP RED and beat a C63 but what does that prove? a modified car can beat a stock one.....congratulations I could have saved you the fuel and told you. Now run it against a Supercharged C63 and sing the same tune.

The evolution ix RS came with the 80series turbo on it from factory ..... not an FP green it wasnt a stripped out track model either, it was lighter than the GSR models for many reasons, there isnt much point in going into it as there is a lot to list. It came with crappy lancer seats none brembo brakes as the car was made so the owners could change all of the running gear /suspension/brakes/seats/ and not pay for the orginal ones they didn't want in the 1st place

You haven't got a MoTec map, its a MoTec ECU and some one will have mapped the car on that ECU ........

Hi guys" im new to this site and owning a merc and a amg!
3 weeks ago i picked up my 2012 c63 amg coupe! Since then iv bean a little diserpointed with the amg and the power and delivery! Iv never drove a auto before or v8!! iv always had turbo"s subaru/evo"s and last car a rs focus in green!

When i put foot on gas! The rev needle goes round to 6-7000 revs but the car seems to go knowhere!! or sometimes it feels like its sticking! All of a suden it"ll come right in the power!! Just dont know if its becouse im new to a auto and amg! or there"s something not right with car!

Im asking if maybe someone else as got a c63 amg and had same probs! or someone can maybe drive my car and tell me if it feels ok! and its just me and not the car!!
