You've been saying about the C200 engine's lack of beans for a whole now, why not pick up a 230k W202 and transfer your mods across. That way you've got a faster car, without the looming repair bill and you've dodged the less attractive, higher depreciating, more expensive to fix/insure W203
You can then break your old car for parts and sell the rest as scrap, or sell as standard with it's current issues.
