This is how we roll on the Thames

I can't believe it took so long before someone thought to tie a rope to it.

Hey , let the boys have their fun ! :D

Someone will have parked it near the river , probably next to one of the signs that says ' This area is at risk of tidal flooding ' that no one pays any heed to

Get yourself down to the White Cross at Richmond on a high tide for some real entertainment. Loads of yummy mummys coming back to find their MX5's , SLK's etc with water halfway up the doors .

Saw a 2CV float off from there once , and the chap returned just as it was nearing mid stream , swum out and pulled it back. Started too.

I would guess that matey at 3.10 with his slightly crestfallen and mincey demeanor wading into the water in his shiny shoes is probably the owner ?

I was once in Weymouth and the spring tide had submerged a number of cars parked by the lift bridge right up to the door handles.

Not the Guys suggesting more of a run up...:D

smacks of an insurance job to me... lots of "upside-down" potential in a Phaeton..

I think its just a rep box passat, but I can see how you could think its a Pheaton.

Doesn't stop me wanting a Phaeton for waft around in. I'd probably hate it as soon as it saw a twisty fun road, but they are cool.:D

They are quite cool - did a road trip round eastern europe in one a few years back... wasn't as bad as you would think on the twists - barely worse than the S...

I really just want one. A W12 preferrably but a 3.0TDi would be still great. Dream car if I win the lottery as its an indulgence.
