"tick" through foot pedal

Hi all,

here's a strange one- when Ive got my foot on the brake pedal at short change traffic lights, when I come to a hault i start to notice a "tick" at about one second intervals coming through as a very faint vibration in the pedal. Its a 3 year old SLK200 Auto- any ideas or anything I should be concerned about?

This might sound daft but firstly have a friend look/listen to the heater duo-valves and check that their cycles are/are not in unison with the clicking in the foot pedal.

Hmmmmm, you could be on to something there... as coincidentally Ive been noticing a bit of power loss from my heating system...

Im off to search for some threads on this!
