Time to service

Took the W210 in for bodywork repiair(insurance job).My service indicator was showing 3600 miles to next service.This would take me about 3 months to do as most of my driving is local and done with "chaufer syle"driving.
Now I've got the car back it's showing 28 days to A service.
Do you think the stealer has altered something purposely ,so that I take the car in sooner? I thought the service indicator reflected the stlye/type of driving the car gets.Surely by it being in the workshops for a week shouldn't have altered the thinking of the computer "brain"?

I wouldnt worry, about the dealer doing something that is. Its all based on time, mileage, driving style, oil quality etc. Mine did the same thing, one minute it was displaying XXXX thousand miles to Service A then, over a weekend, it went to 28 days.

That was after, from new:- 4000 ish miles, fifteen/sixteen months, mainly weekend or evening use, being driven by just me (if any one factor would confuse it?, in my case, that last one would!)
