Tinting for ML W163

Could anyone recommend a good place to have the windows tinted with a high quality tint on an ML please?

Also, any idea of cost as well? Thx

Pentagon Glass Limited: Vehicle glass protection and window tinting are well regarded - not cheap but good quality and service.

We wanted an ML without privacy glass - and it was difficult to find one. I then started to think it may be easier to sell if we had it, and so got a quote of £300 from Pentagon - that was 5 years ago though.

I hade my CL done by Pentagon, and was very happy with them I believe they are a nationwide Company.

Personally I don't think it makes much difference. Some have; some don't. About 50/50 round here.

BTW most dealers have a local firm they use for tinting -they'll usually give you the name so you can contact direct.

I think many people buying an SUV consider privacy glass to be desirable, and so all other things being equal may make the car easier to sell.

In the end I decided that after the effort of finding one without, we should keep it that way - else otherwise we should have bought one of the many others that already had it.

I see very few without it on the road.

I had my ML windows tinted by Prestige Tint of Southport Prestige Tint - Window tinting - Southport when I bought the car 4 years ago.

The pale grey interior looked very stark against the car's dark blue paintwork through the non-privacy tinted windows, the privacy tints improved the appearance.

I've gone as dark as the law allows, and I'm very happy with the appearance of the car.

4 years on, there have been no issues with the films or workmanship.
