Any moderately powered rear wheel drive car will be a handful once traction is lost. That's the nature of rear wheel drive, when you loose grip the back end of the car that is driven will want to overtake the front.

Ahh the memories of the skid pan at Castle Combe and the BMW's now that was a riot of fun!
