...and I have to say the difference is quite something:bannana:
Much more torque. The whole job was done by Celtic Tuning, very professional service. We had a job deal done on three cars so they gave us a discount. My E320, my pal's C270 and another pal's Zafira, all happy chappies.:)

Nice what's the before and after figures, cus i might remap my e320 cdi 2002?

I am also considering this, spoke to the guys that fixed my cluster and was adviced they could increase by 40bhp at a cost of £250-£300...

Anyones thougths on doing this with my 1998 R129 500?

My remap cost £325 from Celtic Tuning. They don't charge seperately for travelling as they seem to travel around the UK each week. I can thoroughly recommend the service.

Whats Re-mapping?
In a nutshell the 'map' in question is the program on the ECU of your car that controls how the engine runs. This program is altered (re-mapped)to optimise things like fueling, turbo boost etc... You can use the map to tune the car to give you optimised fuel consumption or increased performance. I went for increased performance:)

I had my CLK270 done by Celtic it cost me £300. Very good service but the brake horse power claims are a bit exagerated.

I got mine remapped by ChippedUK/Viezu in Bromsgrove. Supposed to be 266 BHP now but I doubt it greatly. The rolling road figures showed +45 BHP +2 Lb/Ft!

Would be great if we could organise an MB rolling road day at an independant, more reliable site.
