I assume this is pretty much the same for all cars (as saw guys at tyre centre doing it for different cars without adjusting wrench).

What should the torque setting be for wheel nuts?

15" alloys on a 202 model if it does make a diff!!

Sometime ago, I got a puncture just outside the premises of ATS. So I went and met the manager who said- no problem, sir. While in the waiting area, I saw all these notices about the company being ISO 9000 one. I asked, tongue in cheek, what this meant. The manager said- Sir, it means we do everything by the book. I then saw the fitter putting the airwrench to my wheel and no sign of a torque wrench being used. So I said to the manager- do you not torque wheels on? He said-of course we do sir. I explained what I had seen, so he calls the unfortunate fitter in and says to him- why are you not using the torque wrench. The fitter said -as you f...... know, there has not been a torque wrench here for years! The manager turns to me and says- sir there is no charge for fixing your puncture !!!!!
