Can anyone recommend a place to get the above please. Would prefer one that includes lacquer but the ones I've come across don't list my colour and you cannot contact the seller. Thanks
Again the dealers
2 bottles
paint/pigment and laquer. just a tip but don't apply with he brushes that come in the bottles use a toothpick to give a better finish.
Thanks. I was hoping to do in one go only as I think it's my best chance of a good job. Has anyone tried chipex. I mainly have small rust on wheel arches and a bit on the bottom of a door and would appreciate any feedback.
You will have to get rid of the rust by rubbing down/grinding to bright(no black spots) metal, prime paint and lacquer to repair it properly or it will come back.
I used chipex on my previous car, the result were eventually very good, but getting used to how hard to press when you use the blending solution took a good few goes to get right. I was a bit too ham fisted the first few times I tried and ended up rubbing the paint out of the chip.
