@JBD Can you get me any info on my GLE VIN no WDC1671592A016671 which is apparently on it's way from the US please. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated especially a delivery date.

Most have been pushed to late September build if its one that has been on hold.

We are told it was built in August and is on route, was supposed to arrive for this month but after speaking to the dealer yesterday they said it would now be mid-October. But they couldn't or wouldn't say why there was a delay, where the car is currently or if there was likely to be further delays or could be brought forward. Just trying to find out where it is and when we might be able to collect as we are supposed to be going on holiday next month. Have got VIN number if that helps but don't know what to do with it :-(

I assume the GLE is coming from the USA--- Is this simply a case of "missing the boat" so to speak? Or putting it another way- what's the frequency and number of MB car BULK transporters making that transatlantic crossing US to Europe or US to UK

Who knows, the dealer mentioned Zeebrugge so I don't know if they cross The Atlantic into mainland Europe first or ship directly to UK. It was built in mid August so it must be a 'slow-boat'

It looks like it was shipped late last month and they’re a 35 day eta to zeebrugge, so it’s on time from the build date
