Hello,:)

On Monday I was driving on the Main road near the Tinsley Viaduct, when i noticed that there was a white van parked with a tripod at the side of it i noticed that at the side of the van it said Traffic Suvery, I just would like someone to confirm that these are common and that they are they just to see how many people use that road at certain times of the day and there not there to take your speed?

Thanks!!

As far as I'm aware if it says Traffic survey that is exactly what it is. The ones checking speed are more usually called Safety cameras. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh and Tinsley Fireduck ???
I know you meant the Tinsley Viaduct but that has made my morning and I'm going to laugh out loud every time I drive across it from now on. :D

Speed, number plate, whose driving and with a direct feed into the DVLA who then can send out all the fines for not having tax on the car, plus they can fine all the cars who drove pass who arent insured or whose car doesnt have an MOT. Its a bit like a combine harvester for traffic offences!

Welcome to the forum!

I have little to add to the subject other than to say that I've corrected the typos...

Thanks for that and I am sorry for the spelling mistake!!:o

Cheers!!;)

MOT data is not yet fully on line - some cars are still running on the old 'manual' MOT certificates and will be for a few months yet .
