Ive just got back in..! A big thanks to Alps for sorting it all out once again.
Want to say had a great day! Nice to meet everyone again and some new faces too..!

Great turnout.! Great cars.! Great people.! Will post some photos up soon!

Right. Here's a few pictures from the event. It was a real pleasure meeting you guys. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Sorry Alps for not taking pictures of your beautiful E55 (small part of it can be seen on one of the photos), as well as lowered black E55 with carbon bits on it, but I hope others will contribute.

Bob, I'm sure I speak of all of us when I say I am very thankful that you also made the journey. You had a very long drive indeed and we thank you for that.
I hope your day was worthy of such a journey.
"Blackie" was simply stunning.
Not only did Blackie have us drooling, it also had most of the visitors to Silverstone drooling too!

I'm also glad that the weather was nice to us.
It rained alittle at around 1pm.
For the first time in a year, my car got rained on!!
But thankfully the rain went away and we were able to dry our cars off.
Thank god!
lol....I'm sure Palmball, Lopez, Andy & Alex will agree that this was all quite stressful for me.
But I managed to to beat the weather again! lol

Alps, you are a top man for arranging things for us.
It was great to finally meet you!
Your E55 is cracking!
Complete with every gadget that Mercedes has to offer, too!

I have not been to Silverstone before, so it was a great day for me.
But most of the fun was catching up with you guys.

Palmball, I am glad you were impressed with the Finish Kare detailing spray.
I highly recommend it.
It was also good to see you lavish so much detailing-attention on your mental C63!
It was great to see it again.
Simply beautiful!

Journey home took a while... there was a pretty bad crash on the other side of the M1... about 5 cars involved.
Some looked mangled to sh#t!
Looked bad.

But managed to get home in about 2hrs.
Palmball, I drove very conservatively to save fuel as I did not know how much V-Power the Beast was likely do drink.
I am happy report that my MPG was a healthier 19.5
That's better than the 14.5mpg it has been suggesting.

I was impressed that I was able to go to silverstone and back to my local petrol station, back home, in alittle over 3/4 of a tank.

Listen to me...all chuffed. It was only a total of 220 miles!!

Right, I need to get a couple of things done now but I will pop back later and post up some pics..

Again it was great to see all of you there!

Havent been posting much lately due to other commitments but still been a bit a of a lurker,lol.

1st time at trax paul ???? I done it back in 04/05 cant remember exactly when i had my C32, had a great laugh with alps & co sure he'll tell you more about it tomorrow.Managed a 5.5sec 0.60 sprint in my 32 not bad at all considering the blistering hot weather we had that day, still got all the video footage of it some were on this pc see if i can youtube a bit.

And for those who mere thinking about going or totally ignored alps post "YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR MISSING"

Those who are going HAVE A GREAT DAY. and have a safe journey,keep the fun for the track.

The weather was crap all morning but chatting to all the boys more than made up for it, top day!

I think you hit the "perfect" launch, don't forget standard is 4.6, some say 4.5 so 4.44 is not impossible.

Timing gear must have been f*****, how the hell can I do 4.32 3 times in a row with 3 different launch techniques?

Hi Guys. .

Just wanted to say a HUGE thanks to you all .. I am sooo glad I made the trip (well I stayed the weekend so I could go).. lol.

Alps, you are a diamond for the tickets and for getting it all together.

Rash .. . Beat you to cleaning the car with the cloth, after the rain. . lol.

Hope I can come to more and I got back to Plymouth in under 4 hours so spuds in fried onions and salad was waiting for me. . .loverly . .

After seeing all your awsome machines, I think I need to do a little more TLC to my car for next time. . some amazing cars guys. . may need to pick your brains about bodywork care lol
