Got back from a great day at TRAX - thanks Alps for making sure the weather held and thanks to all those that attended and made it such a great day, we seem to attract quite a lot of attention with the cars we had in attendance!! Just a few shots of the day!! :bannana:
totally agree Steve great day, love your car mate and thank you for the paint job :). Totally knackered now as the guests were still at home when I got there lol

Paul, I looked on the way home and couldn't see any HADECS3 cameras on the M1. Only the gantry cameras from 13 to at least the M25 (7/8?) turn off. :dk:

I had a look as well, and found one around junction 13 :/

Will be back on M1 tomorrow, and will get its exact location.

Some photos of the day guys, sorry couldn't get to say goodbye to a lot of you :( image-3355288003.jpg image-2060484623.jpg

Great to meet up with the usual suspects and to put faces to names of other forum members.

Well done Alps, that was a very spacious plot - thanks for organising :thumb:

It was really funny to hear some comments from other non merc guys saying that plot is full of mad merc V8's.... Totally agree and then my head got even bigger lol. Great day and a big thank you to alps to sort things out.
Tony it was a pleasure to have a good co pilot today, otherwise I would have been asleep on the m1 somewhere!

Not sure which junction but also saw it on the way back down. Tense couple of weeks ahead

Just finished cleaning the car up
Now for some well earned chilling.

It was a great day.
Excellent turnout and the weather was very good to us this year!
Really good to catch up with you all again.
The day seemed to go so quickly.. there never seems to be enough time to talk to everyone when we get together :(
Sorry if I didn't get to spend much time with any of you, but know that it was great to see you all!

Thanks again Alps for sorting another year's Trax

I didn't bring my camera along today but, instead, opted to make hand-held use of my dash cam for once! :D
I shall view my footage later and charge ransoms where appropriate :D

Is it this (this is not a HADECS3 unit)?

Sav, your car sounds great by the way.
I was expecting complete havoc when I heard what you had done but it sounded really good! :thumb:
But by the sounds of it, it is more appreciated outside of the car than it is inside! lol!

Alex, your CL really surprised me today too.
Sounds awesome!
A real wolf in sheep's clothing.

Andy, great to see you, Vicki and her folks today.
Been too long bud :(
Really annoyed I didn't take a closer look at your ML too
But in looking forward to seeing your SLS when you get it back!
Really good to catch up with you and to hear your stories :D
They are always very entertaining :thumb:
We'll get a euro trip sorted asap :thumb:

Acid, good to see you and your bro!
Great company as usual
I'll see you soon enough I'm sure! :thumb:

Got some good footage of the mad scientists (Sav and Acid) dissecting Chris's CLS too.... Chris, the price to keep the footage off the forum is £1,000
I'm not a greedy man :D

Speaking of Chris, there were some lovely young girls that got through the day Uncorrupted in his absence :D

Steve, I hope you are calmer now after your run-in with the shell station attendant! lol ;)
Never seen you razz out before! lol

Bruno, may I say that I am not surprised you managed to get through a set of rear tyres on your France trip! lol
When you arrived at the shell garage in the morning, your exhaust was ticking away like mad and your car glowing with heat... and you only live down the road! lol
Was good driving up and back with you today :thumb:

Agnes, was great to see you with us again today!
Even better to see you in a 63! :D:thumb:
It looked lovely :thumb:
Hope you enjoyed the day and I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to catch up with you much :(

C43 boys!
Great to have you with us today!
Cars were looking great!

Simon & Sukh, our early morning starts are becoming a habit these days! lol
Great to be driving in convoy again
Both your cars sound awesome.
Hope you avoided the cameras which were going off like fireworks it seemed!

Suky, CLS sounded proper beefy man!
There's something about seeing a CLS roaring along that is really very cool
You and Don represent the CLS corner very well indeed

Nab!
Great to see you with us too!
I found you sitting quietly in the corner! :D
Great chatting bud :thumb:
Car was looking extremely fresh, as usual!

This is facing southbound though so not sure.

:dk:

Its not the cameras on the back of the gantrys you need to worry about anymore. 11th gantry south of M1 junc 13 southbound, there is a camera and flasher unit fixed to the left hand support of the gantry. There are no cameras on the gantry over the lanes so its easy to think it is safe.
The camera on the left hand gantry support is pointing across all 3 lanes at 45 deg to the carriageway, it does flash

John beat me to it :)
