Two Tonne Bully

Got a pile of parts waiting to go on in the next couple of weeks/months that should make it happen.

You cannot just announce and leave it at that.

What did you buy??

So far I have:
74mm pulley
82mm TB
16" CLK wheels for rears

Next I need to get slicks/drag radials, 550cc injectors and water:meth injection kit, then will all be installed in one go.

Also picked up some nice motor mounts:

Looks promising S! Best of luck with your quest.

On a side note, I'd wait with the injectors until you know you've maxed them out. A fuel pressure sensor will tell you if it's the injectors or the actual fuel line (like in my case.)

lol :D These won't really contribute to my victory over you, but will hopefully last a long time and make sure these ballache long tubes don't rub/vibrate anymore.

I'd thought of this, but my reasoning to just go ahead with injectors was that cost of setting up fuel pressure sensor was fairly close to that of the 550cc injectors anyway, and it wouldn't do any harm to go ahead and upgrade. FP monitoring should be done under load, correct?

For my power level (500-550whp), OEM lines should be plenty enough.

But I would still like to setup some good data logging gear, ie zeitronix etc

Yep, you'd monitor the pressure all the way to redline. If it stays up but you're leaning out, it's the injectors. Otherwise it's likely to be the line.

I have some Zeitronix Z2 (x2) and Z3 kits for both banks + nDash display that I bought for mine but ended up not using due to ECU having all this functionality built in. Let me know if you want any of them or better yet pop in for a cuppa and chit chat.

Happy to take them long tubes off your hands mate ;) What colour did you want your MPOWER sticker again?

100% on board with that cuppa and cha

Looking good. Where are you putting the nozzle(s)?

Could I ask, to whom mapped your car after the 82mm TB fitting, did u jump directly from standard 74mm TB to the 82mm..? my own car is modified, amongst them the 78MM TB and the only thing remaining that I may squander some money on is this 82mm TB fitment, as I have the plenium and a 82mmTB here with me, but loads of stories of grief with this fitment, although I have heard, that jumping from standard map with 74mm TB directly to 82mm with map, has been more successful that intermediate fitments. Be good to hear your thoughts on this, although sadly I will not be at Santa type events to see you in action, but may well see our friend Alex, shortly at another event, r u going?.

Haven't installed those listed parts, they're still in their boxes ready to go on.

Yeah I've heard variety of stories regarding the 82mm TB. Some have no problems. And some, even very experienced people, can never iron out the driveability issues. I'll have a go.

Yeah, I'll definitely want to come out to see Alex run. Would be fun to run a VMax event too, but 10 sec 1/4mile is the main goal at the moment.

Very Sexy :) what the Hell are they :(
