UHI & BLUETOOTH

OSLO is correct. The comand itself does not have the bluetooth parts inside it. They are actually inside a separate UHI PSE. The UHI PSE located in the trunk has a bluetooth antenna fakra connector. You access the bluetooth feature through the comand. The only thing it's good for is a privacy earpiece.

Miro is correct. I have used a personal earpiece with the bluetooth part of the PSE. Not cradle. I also connected a OEM MERCEDES CORDLESS privacy handset which works with the bluetooth of the PSE. And also due to the wide differences in Bluetooth stacks and protocols, there are too many conflicts pairing devices. Hopefully SAP will cure most of them. Only if all phone providers would adopt it.....such as Motorola.

And by the way Miro the personal headsed is not connected via Bluetooth.It is wire connected.
If the personal headset would work via Bluetooth you would never see my name here.Let me explain again something.The MB version in question here will not let you make calls directly.You have to buy extra gadget (the headset interface),connect the gadget to the connector (wire,no BT) and then if you are lucky you may make calls.Your phone connects over the BT to the gadget (headset) and from there the call goes via the wires to COMAND and thus to car speakers and vice versa from car microphone to COMAND then to the gadget (the headset interface) and from there over the Bluetooth to your phone.
That's why it is so unreliable.

A personal headset is a small earpiece that only sits on your ear. There are bluetooth versions of this small device and it is precisely what will pair with the COMAND. It does not make phone calls. The rest is indicated by Sunman.

Now if you need further information I would be more than happy to forward your request to the two people who invented UHI for the E-Class W211.

Hi everybody...
I have found a module for my sportscoupe 230 2005 model (facelifted).
The thing is that I found it in the the US and they are giving me B 67875839 as a part number. Is it correct??? Will it work on my MB??
