UMI Upgrade issue

Last week I had an old UMI fitted that I got off ebay - no problems. Updated the software with a Mercedes 2009/10 maps update - no problems except when it got to load the maps it came up with an error asking me to try another USB stick and rebooted. Now the whole Navi system is inopperable as it is without maps. Any ideas? The upgrade disk was also off ebay (there is a pattern emerging!) I wonder if it knows it's been down loaded once already. Is there any way I can downgrade to the old maps/software (possible through the engineers menu. Any assistance would be appreciated.

This issue is caused by the USB update stick having been used once before. They are a one time use only. Your only solution is to buy a genuine update pack.
