underside protection ( glasgow )

just about to get the car prepped for winter has anyone ever done the underside ie waxoil or any other type of underbody sealant i imagine it would be better up on a ramp in a garage to give it a proper clean and seal is there anywhere in glasgow area that would do this

cant be ****d lying under the car all day on a driveway

I do it regularly to all my cars but really you need a ramp and half a day...

If not a good garage can do it.

I like regular old waxoyl heated up in a bucket of boiling water. I get through around 8 litres doing one car...

Many rave about Bilt & Hamber but ive never liked it much.

Waxoyl is brilliant inside cavities but it remains tacky so I DNt like it for the underside as grit/salt and general road dirt stick to it

It's expensive (£100 approx for 4 litres )and time consuming but truck bed liner (raptor or xline)
Give a high gloss finish which will never chip or scratch it comes in black or you can tint it to Match your cars colour it truly brilliant for underbody and wheel houses
