uneven tyre wear on my Vito

Hi All, just a quick one, i know you can have your front wheels and tyres aligned , but is there any adjustments on the rear wheels? I only ask as i had a rear tyre blow out on me last week and when i looked at it, it had seriously worn but only on the inside. I kow if it wears on the middle its over inflated, both outside edges its underinflated, but what makes it waer seriously but only on the inside.

I belive that you have adjustment on the rear as well via the anti tramp bars or somthing like that,(torrsion bars/tie bars)


We have a ML and i know that you can have a 4 wheel tracking done at the dealership and there is adjustment on the rear wheels either to toe in or toe out,and the camber can be messed with as well.

I would make sure all the suspension is all well and good and nothing has come loose, which could have caused the problem, check the dampers to see if any fluid is leaking.

If all seems well and good it look's like a trip to the dealership as they set the 4 wheel tracking up under preloaded conditions,unless you know what the preload is the local kwik fit type place can not do it.
