Unlocking Hood In Motion

Not sure the correct term to use but was wondering has anyone ever came across a d.i.y unlocked for the hood in motion on an SL? I know you can get a plug and play box that lets you raise and lower the hood up to I think 30MPH. But thought I would ask the question befor purchasing the box.

Yes Merlin 13 has done it and I have seen it working, I am going to buy one for me as a new year present

They are good to have, I had my doubts at first

I've got one on my SLK. Not quite plug and play - requiring 4 hours work to fit - but it's remote, one click and in motion up to 30mph and I love it - it's fantastic. Would deffo recommend it. Just make sure you get the right module for your car.The only down side for mine, might not be the same for yours, is it affects the wipers. Constant speed one only works over 30mph now unless you use rapid wipe. Up to 30mph you only get intermittent wipe. Not a massive problem but a bit of a niggle.
