Unwanted alloy wheels

HI I've just brought a 52 Mercedes E320 CDI which has come with AMG alloys and I'm thinking about switching them back to the standard wheels, do you think I should advertise on here to swap them for original wheels? what would be a fair deal?

Any thoughts would be welcome

What's the condition of the wheels like, make of tyres fitted and their tread depth?

In good condition with decent tyres they're worth quite a bit, if tatty with worn/cheap tyres not fortunes.

Still - AMG wheels always sell well so you'll have no trouble moving them on. A couple of hundred plus a swap would be fair IMO in similar condition for some standard 16s?

Thanks for your reply, they are not in great condition could do with a refurb as they are kurbed, but they are straight or certainly getting no sense of them being buckled, just legal Pirelli P1's on the back and front's are half worn cheap rubbish so I would suggest 4 new tyres to be honest.

Not to worried about extra as mainly looking for a tidy set of standard wheels but obviously wouldn't want to undersell them.

Trouble is, four decent tyres for those wheels will be £500+, maybe nearer £700-800 for premium Michelins/Contis etc. Couple of hundred for a refurb?

You might be better off looking for a decent set of standard wheels with good tyres, then either sell the AMGs on as they are or get the tyres stripped off, refurb and sell like that.

Depends on how much effort you want to put in I guess

Un-refurbished probably worth £300-400, fully refurbed probably £500-600? without tyres.

Have just noticed somebody in the wanted section after what I've got will see if that goes anywhere, if not I think I'll buy a set, then refurb what I've got then put them on the market, thanks for your help

The car is currently getting a full health check but I will have the car back on Thursday when I will get some pictures I have somebody interested already.
