W204 Facelift C220CDi
i am finally going back to merc after 3 years moving to beemer.

I got a little excited with my impending pick up of a facelift w204 next saturday and decided to do a lot of prep. One of the things i looked into was a usb stick for the glove box.

I bought the following which should fit perfectly without fear of snapping off (using conventional usb flash drives)

SanDisk Cruzer Fit 16GB USB Flash Drive: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

Please do not buy them yet. i shall test to make sure that it is compatible next weekend when i pick up my car and then post an update. However, £8.81 for 16GB usb drive is still quite a steal IMO

i got this kingston one last week for our E350, drag & drop to 'load' it & it works very well. just need to buy some more music now to fill it, they don't make 'em like they used to & i rarely buy anything these days! had to dig out all my old favourites to get it even 20% full...nothing like a bit of Bon Jovi when the sun is shining :D

Any USB drive will work well and even a 2.5" HDD works although they much more delicate. I am waiting for a cheap 64Gb to come along and put all my music in.

Was worried that I might break it when putting something in the glove box hence the reason why I decided to buy the stubby ones
