USB memory problems C220

I have a (W204) C220 CDI sport saloon with Audio 20 installed. There is an USB port in the centre console. When I use it, the majority of tracks play OK but some skip to a completely different album when selected. There does not seem to be any logic behind this or is there?
I did think that one possibility might be a memory capacity for the USB link. I am using a Verbatim 32gb at the moment.

Comments anyone??

It is because the tracks you are trying to play are not encoded in a format the car car read properly. It could be the bit rate, encoding codec or that the file is corrupt or damaged.

It may also be that the files are copy protected

The car can see the file but simply can't read it.

This is quite common if you download files for free off the internet.

If you have bought these files then go back to where you bought them

If you ripped them of the CD yourself then check the rip settings.

Hi Mark,

All tracks are either bought or ripped from my CDs. I will have a go with the file issue but so far as I know they are all mp3. I'll let you know if and how I crack it.
