The stepson and 3 mates (ranging in age from 21 to 50's) have booked a fishing trip in July for a week to France. Of course nobody has given consideration to just how they will get there!!!

A van with 3 seats is easy enough to find but 4 seats and able to take over the channel? Needs to fit all the fishing gear in and these guys are serious carp fishermen so we are not talking a pole, string and bent pin! (Not sure just why they need that much gear!! :dk:)

Anybody got any ideas/know of anywhere? Or got a van suitable to borrow for a suitable consideration :thumb: One of the guys drives all sorts (including a gritter) for the council and of course those guys have to have a clean licenced to stay employed.

Come on guys - get me some brownie points!

Where abouts in britian are you based

Just get a normal three seater van and throw a mattress in the back, one can sleep while the others sit up front.

EDIT ^^^ great minds……..

If crew vans are hard to find, how about a mini-bus? Poles etc under the seats, bags etc on top etc.

Just how big does it need to be ?

Smaller vans like the Corsa Combi have four seats , and should be readily available .

Otherwise , a camper van - should be the off season for those who hire those things - which will give cooking plus tea & coffee makng facilities as well .
