please explain how something which has several days to go can be classed as "cheap" - do you know what the highest bid will be? :D

a better description would be "cheap until the bidiots get involved"

I asked you how you knew it was cheap not for a definition of the word cheap.

However, for the hard of thinking here's a definition of "auction" :D

Steady on old bean, it sounds like you're getting worked up over nothing....

I didn't say it was going to be stay cheap, neither did I predict how many bids it was going to get. I merely stated the car as being cheap because it is at £113 now. I don't know if it will stay cheap but then again I'm not all that bothered whether it does or it doesn't. I'm going out now, if you would like me to clarify every single thing I post, I will do that after I get back.

For now I bid you good afternoon.

That's a bargain even if it gets condemned as scrap at the next MOT.

lol :D

Went for £311 quid, bargain or not?

Actually, it sold for £111 as the car has £200 scrap value.
Estates, coupes, convertibles, diesels and AMGs are still sought after but older petrol saloons have no value these days.

"Bidiots". PMSL!

Those will probably be like the ones who are currently asking silly questions on my car on ebay- Unintelligible texts and "Best offers" of £4000 on a £6500 car...

That will soon change when people realise next year that pre 2001 cars have escaped the high tax levels.

And what can be more wonderful than a 95 220 (124) saloon at its most refined best and returning up to 40 mpg in a very relaxed manner.

Higher geared and quieter than estate for those that need 4 doors.

Buy now while stocks last.

No rust on the arches though.. :)

The David Hasselhof sticker is very useful in covering up W124 front wing rust.
We should have a group buy.
