Very quick exhaust question

A simple yes or no, really!

Is the exhaust system used on a 124 300E 24 saloon exactly the same as the one used on the 300CE 24?

Was offered a full sytem from a CE and the seller swore it was the same as on my E.

Had my doubts, hence the question.

Wouldn't I have to add 3" as I have the E?

He wanted only a fraction under what GSF do it for and it's a couple of years old - 25k done with it.

A genuine MB zorst though.
