vito 639 seats

Can you help me out here as I am failing to understand. Is the floor in the Vito double skinned? I am about to attempt this and need clear advice.
Yes the floor is a shallow box section, take your time & follow the instructions and if you are practical, I'm sure it will all become apparent..

Sorry for the late reply I don't seem to be receiving post notifications. Yeah I'm an ex Ford Mastertech so I hopefully will be ok. Can you provide me any further info for as to what I will need? I have the quick release rails.

Also does anyone know where I can get a set of Lima fabric seat coverings for the three seat rear bench seat?

Dont know of anyone who sellls them but you might find some if people have swapped to leather. Otherwise expensive from Merc

BIG UN could you tell me where I am to cut to thread the 10mm flat bars through for the lower seat rail fixings. Am I cutting the floor from the top inside or drilling a wider hole through the chassis leg? I was thinking of a 38mm hole with a hole saw through the chassis leg from below then Schultzing it and covering with a blanking grommet afterwards but I'm not sure whether I will have clearance enough to feed it through or if it would hit the bottom of the floor before going in.

Beware ! Seat fitment is subject to type approval from new and normally any retro fitment should meet the relevant pull test requirements. This can be achieved by purchasing a system already meeting the requirements and certificated as such. This is particularly relevant where the seat belts are attached to the seats. As previously stated, the bus and coach industry will more than likely have the answers as they may well have had someone who have had a conversion. If the floor was to be already supplied with the necessary fixing points, you'd be very lucky.
